Product information :250g pack/Blue Label

Raw materials: orange, leaves, technology: hand picking, fermentation, drying, etc

1. Orange Pu-erh tea leaves are a fermented tea originating from Yunnan Province, China. The tea leaves are processed and aged to develop a rich, earthy flavour with a sweet and slightly astringent taste. This tea is named for its distinctive orange colour, which is due to being wrapped in orange peel during the ageing process.

2 When preparing orange pu-erh tea leaves, it is recommended to first rinse the tea leaves in hot water about three times to remove any debris and to awaken its flavour. The tea leaves are then steeped in the hot water for 1-3 minutes, depending on the desired strength. The tea can be consumed straight away or with a little honey or milk or chrysanthemum. Some tea lovers also like to re-infuse the tea leaves a few times to savour its full flavour and complexity.

3. Orange Pu-erh tea is popular and well known in the Chinese tea ceremony and is favoured by many tea lovers as a perfect gift.

4. Orange pu-erh tea needs to be rinsed. The temperature of the water should be around 90 degrees Celsius. In addition, the washed tea needs to be poured out and not drunk. The main purpose of washing tea is to bring the tea leaves into full contact with hot water and oxygen, so that the tea leaves can be awakened from their dormant state and the inner quality and aroma of the tea leaves can be refreshed. Tea leaves should not be left for too long.
